Dr. Madhav Danthala is a senior medical oncologist with over thirteen years of experience treating the full range of cancers  solid tumours in adults, blood cancers, paediatric cancers, and selected advanced therapies, including stem cell transplantation.

He completed his DM in Medical Oncology at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad, and his fellowship in leukemia and bone marrow transplantation at Vancouver General Hospital, University of British Columbia, Canada.

His practice is built across three streams in balanced measure.

For adults with solid tumours  breast, lung, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, gynaecological, and head & neck cancers. For blood cancers  acute and chronic leukemias, Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphomas, multiple myeloma, and marrow failure syndromes.

For children, the full range of paediatric oncology, both solid and liquid malignancies.

Treatment plans are subtype-led and built around chemotherapy, targeted therapy, hormonal therapy, immunotherapy, transplant where indicated, and supportive care.

He helped establish one of Andhra Pradesh’s earliest allogeneic stem cell transplant programmes at Manipal Hospitals, Vijayawada, including the state’s first matched-sibling and haploidentical-donor transplants, and has personally performed over 300 transplants in India.

Dr. Danthala is known for clear communication with patients and families, openness to second opinions, and structured review of complex referrals. He offers focused second opinions and detailed case analyses when reports disagree, treatment paths diverge, or a major decision requires an independent written clinical roadmap.
