Happiness is the greatest blessing, yet it is a rarity in the daily lives of many. Reflecting on the happiness index, India ranks 126 globally, a position attributed to the weakening of human relationships. In this context, ” MARO GURAVAYANAM,” the latest book by Dr. Gurava Reddy, compels readers to think about human connections, family, and society. Speakers at the launch emphasized the importance of everyone reading this book.
The book “MARO GURAVAYANAM“ was officially unveiled at KIMS-Sunshine Hospital. The event was graced by Dr. A.V. Gurava Reddy, Managing Director of KIMS Sunshine Hospital, and notable personalities like Vara Prasad Reddy from Shanta Vasanta Trust, KIMS Hospitals CMD Dr. B. Bhaskara Rao, celebrated author Yandamuri Veerendranath, and Dr. Gurava Reddy’s wife, Dr. Bhavani.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Gurava Reddy shared, “MARO GURAVAYANAM is not my autobiography but a collection of my experiences. Since its first edition in 2011, the initial Guruvayanam was reprinted six times, distributing 18,000 copies for free. This new edition reflects on individuals who have profoundly influenced my life, childhood memories, and the journeys of people who stood by me and supported me. I have also included the works of my favorite authors. In the coming year, I plan to release the third edition of Guruvayanam.”
Speakers at the event highlighted the book’s simplicity and how it brings readers back to their childhood, making it a perfect coffee-table read. Noted singer Gazal Srinivas remarked, “Reading this book reminds us of our past – like a kite soaring high but eventually returning to the ground.” Writer Sudhalla Ashok Teja praised the book for its emotional portrayal of a mother’s struggles. Dr. Bhaskara Rao, CMD of KIMS Hospitals, commended Dr. Gurava Reddy, saying, “Every doctor should learn from him.” The event saw participation from several prominent figures, including director Gangaraju Gunnam, actor Bala Aditya, comedian Gundu Sudarshan, JD Lakshminarayana, Mrinalini, director Mohan Krishna Indraganti, doctors from KIMS-Sunshine Hospitals, and Dr. Gurava Reddy’s family and friends.
