SUSPENSION OF OP SERVICES AND ELECTIVE SURGERIES ON 17TH AUGUST 2024 IN SOLIDARITY WITH IMA
The Indian Medical Association has initiated a 24-hour nationwide suspension of non-emergency services from 6 am on 17th August 2024 in response to the horrific attack on a trainee woman doctor in Kolkata.

KIMS-Sunshine Hospitals joins the nationwide protest to condemn the heinous crime against DR.Moumita , a dedicated trainee doctor in Kolkata.
As healers, our hands are meant to save lives, not mourn our own. We stand in solidarity with the IMA and the entire medical community to demand justice for Dr. Moumita and ensure such heinous acts never happen again.
On 17th August 2024, we pause our OP services and elective surgeries in support of this cause. Emergency services will continue as we raise our collective voice—justice must be served.
