Dr. B Pranathi is the senior consultant and Head of the Department of Ophthalmology at KIMS Hospitals, Secunderabad. She is a cataract, glaucoma and refractive surgeon. She has 15 years of surgical expertise in dealing with complicated cataract surgeries. She specializes in dealing with neuro-ophthalmology and diabetic retinopathy patients.

- M.B.B.S from Vijayanagara Institute of Medical Sciences, Bellary Karnataka in 2004
- Post Graduation from Minto Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Bangalore Medical College, in 2008
- Underwent phaco training from Sankara Nethralaya Chennai in 2009
- Training in refractive surgeries from New Vision Eye Centre Hyderabad in 2012
- Completed her short-term medical retina fellowship from Aravind Eye Hospital Coimbatore
- Short-term fellowship in glaucoma from Aravind Eye Hospital Madurai in the year 2016
