KIMS Sunshine organises kidney-health awareness programme on World Kidney Day

KIMS Sunshine organised an awareness programme on Kidney Health on March 12th 2026, to honour the World Kidney Day.

Led by Dr. A. V. Guruva Reddy, Managing Director and Chief Robotic Joint Replacement surgeon, along with Dr A. Bhavani, Chief Consultant Gynecologist, the event focused on spreading awareness on following a healthy lifestyle to protect kidney health.

The programme also included interactive sessions with dialysis patients to help them in understanding kidney care and preventive health care practices.

Nephrologists Dr. Anuradha, Dr Rajesh and Dr. Kaushik highlighted the importance of early detection of kidney diseases. The dietician department was also a part of the awareness programme, where they explained dietary habits that help maintain good kidney health.
