A state-of-the-art Eye Care Centre, KIMS-SUNSHINE Eye Care, was inaugurated at KIMS-SUNSHINE Hospitals, Begumpet, thus integrating world-class ophthalmology services under one roof. The launch was graced by Dr. A.V. Gurava Reddy, Managing Director of KIMS-SUNSHINE Hospitals, who emphasised the need for centralised access to eye care for all age groups—from newborns to the elderly.
The centre is equipped with cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment technologies catering to cataract, cornea, retina and glaucoma care. It is designed to offer 100% cashless services to eligible patients, especially those under government healthcare schemes.
The inauguration also featured Dr. A. Bhavani, Chief of Obstetrics & Gynaecology,and Dr. STS Prudhu Vyas, Head of Ophthalmology, who highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary care within the hospital. The initiative also aims to provide support to rural and remote patients through outreach and education.
